Ralph Waldo Emerson

This photo was taken in Bude, Southern England; the archway is part of the ruins and land around Bude castle, which has a wonderful history in this coastal area of Southern England.

Mybrother told me that a German film was made here in Bude, does anyone know which one that is? I saw and heard a lot of German-speaking photographers the day when I was in Bude.

‘A castle built on sand’
Formerly the home of Victorian inventor Sir Goldsworthy Gurney, The Castle is now a heritage centre with exhibition galleries, an archive with research facilities, an education room, shop and a restaurant with breathtaking views to the breakwater and Chapel Rock and over Summerleaze Beach to the sea beyond…

I use a LUMIX panasonic point and shoot camera

A self-taught, passionate photographer and writer – I love capturing beauty through the eyes of a camera. I have self-published 9 books, all non-fiction except one. My books are real life human interest topics that I feel are worthy of reflection.
