Glenda Remaklus
The object look like a wine glass.
Susie Peek-Swint replied
Thanks for the guess Glenda but nope, not a wine glass :) susie
bubblehex08
Is it a fountain feature?
Susie Peek-Swint
Nope ~ would be a nice feature to have though :)
bubblehex08
It looks like a cocktail glass! Is it a lot bigger, or is it plus/minus that size
Susie Peek-Swint
It is larger than a glass ~ at least the glasses I use ~ lol!
SeaAngel2
Is it one of those things you fill iwth water and stick in your plants to keep them watered while your away from home? Sorry don’t know the proper name for it. Whatever it is it’s very pretty!
Susie Peek-Swint replied
That’s a great idea and would be a good photo-prop idea but no, not one of those :) susie
Kerri-Lynne At...
is it a lamp?
Susie Peek-Swint replied
I think you’re close enough Kerri-Lynne ~ well done! I’ve posted a quick shot of it to show the whole lamp :)
bubblehex08
A garden decoration?
Susie Peek-Swint replied
Nope, not a garden decoration but Kerri-Lynne was close enough so have posted a quick shot of the whole thing ~ an oil lamp!
Susie Peek-Swint
A glass oil-lamp holder I found in an old shop ~ added some shower gel and food colouring, turned it upsidedown and gave it a swirl against the stormy sky ~ because of the very narrow stem the water bubbled out slowly so able to photograph it before it emptied ~ thanks for playing along! Susie
Susie Peek-Swint
SOLVED by Kerri-Lynne ~ 6 guesses … I’m new to this group so not sure if this is all the info you need .. have uploaded a quick shot of the whole object.. susie
Kerri-Lynne At...
Thanks Siska… though I don’t think I quite solved it. Its an interesting oil lamp
Susie Peek-Swint replied
You got it as a lamp though so thought I should close it … it’s a great lamp to play with and I doubt it’ll ever be used for its original purpose ~ lol! cheers, susie

Fabulous creation,, I will have to try that! ‘-)
Susie Peek-Swint replied 19 days ago
Many thanks Linda ~ it’s fun to do .. the trick is to get a very narrow stem so the water doesn’t flow out too quickly ~ unless you have a super fast lens!
