When I was young
It was toys, toys toys,
When I grew up
It was boys, boys, boys,
Then I threw convention aside
Decided a bike I’d never ride, ride, ride,
A car I’d never drive, drive, drive,
Prince Charming wouldn’t arrive, arrive,
So I gave up on boys, boys, boys,
And bought some more toys, toys, toys,
My daughter wanted to be one of the boys,
And soon shared my toys, toys, toys,
Then she gave them back for boys, boys, boys,
Her kids now play with my toys, toys, toys
And ten years from now it will be boys, boys boys.
I’ve never stopped playing with toys. Every Christmas I buy the most popular. My daughter got confused because when she thought I’d bought her something it was really mine.
