A 26 exposure composite taken last April in the Florida Keys.
After upgrading my computer, I’m happy to be able to put these composites together again. I’ve got several dozen hidden in different places (hard drives, external USB ports, CD’s and DVD’s). Now, the task is to find them all, get them in one location, and start arranging them.
This particular composite shows the entire island (“key”, in Florida-ese) of Conch Key. The road you see on the left and right is the same (US 1), which runs all the way down to Key West.
The original size of this image was a monstrous 1.01 GB before conversion to JPG, and it took my updated computer nearly 20 minutes to flatten the layers onto one background layer. All told, it took around 5 hours of work to achieve this composite.
