For a long time, the whole conundrum of our “place in the universe”, or “why we are here” has been a question that has eluded humanity. It is natural, I suppose, among creatures who have grown “intelligent enough” to be able to question their own existence and wonder about that existence’s meaning.
This series of photographs explores that enigma. More than metaphorically, the photographs in this series are not physically able to be reproduced. (Believe me, I have tried). They are there for one moment and then they vanish, like seconds on a watch that flit by, or those extra droplets that fall out of a faucet after it has been turned off. Much, I suppose, like our own lives.
