My name is Joseph Rotindo and I live in Quebec.
I have been photographing since I was five years old, when my parents gave me an old cartridge film camera they weren’t using. That was 28 years ago.
I’ve had some success with publication:
In September 2009, I was honored to receive a Merit Award after entering COLOR magazine’s Portfolio contest and subsequently had 4 photographs published there.
Also, five of my abstract photographs were named “Official Selection” of the 2009 International Photography Awards.
In August 2009, I was named JPG magazine’s “Member of the week”.
in 2007, 2008, and 2009, I was selected as a finalist in the Spring Photography Contests sponsored by Photographer’s Forum magazine, and subsequently published in the books “The Best Photography of 2007 Annual” and “The Best Photography of 2008 Annual, and will be in the upcoming “The Best Photography of 2009 Annual.”
Currently, I am also being exhibited at Upstream People Gallery. They featured 9 of my abstract photographs in October 2008, and my work is being currently exhibited there until the end of September 2009.
Thanks for visiting, and if you have any further questions, or are interested in ordering prints of other works not seen here, please let me know.
