Glaswegians (citizens of Glasgow, Scotland, UK) love adorning public statues with traffic cones, including this one located on the city’s Kelvin Bridge. With her enigmatic expression and gentle smile, she reminds us of the Mona Lisa. The statue by sculptor Paul Raphael Montford represents Peace and was unveiled in 1926. We’ve digitally altered our Glaswegian Mona Lisa with a touch of lipstick and eyeshadow. The design is a homage to Montford and Andy Warhol. And the Mona Lisa.
