A photograph of a broken wrought iron street lamp featuring emblems from the coat of arms of the city of Glasgow, Scotland, UK. There’s the bird that never flew, the tree that never grew, the bell that never rang and the fish that never swam. It seemed appropriate that the lamp didn’t work either. The bird, tree, bell and fish emblems relate to legends surrounding St Mungo, the city’s patron saint. The lamppost was photographed outside Glasgow Cathedral.
