Tankfist Steehammer vs. Cthulhu! by

A new tee featuring my entry into the New York Comic Con Challenge that you can vote for HERE

To us, it was as if a crawling subterranean consciousness erupted from the waves, a horror beyond description come at the beckoning of some eldritch gods to destroy not only our bodies, but the very core of our sanity…

To Tankfist Steelhammer, it was lunch.

Raised on a diet of Doctor Who, Tolkien, Dungeons & Dragons and comic books, Simon Sherry has been making monsters from the moment he could put a crayon to a flat surface. Combining elements of post-apocalyptic science-fantasy, post-human horror and a black sense of humour; Simon’s work is preoccupied with notions of humankind’s ability to determine the course of its own fate in the face of forces larger than itself.

Awesome man! Giving Templesmith a run for his money is the tentacle department! haha!

  • Now that’d be fun – a ‘squid-off’!

    lovin the “sushi” voice bubble

  • Thanks! That was a late addition – I’d been trying to figure out what I wanted Tankfist to ‘say’, and given the squidish nature of Cthulhu, sushi seemed somewhat appropriate.

I love it. A perfect blend of action and comedy.

  • Thanks Michael – that’s the aim. Glad to hear that I’m succeeding :o)

    SUSHI ROLL!!! Love it!

  • Well, if you’re as hardcore as Tankfist, no ordinary sashimi will do (I’ve heard though that the trick is in the preperation – cut it even a little wrong, and the resulting meal will lead to unstable perception shifts, an enlargement of the pineal gland, cannibalistic tendancies and complete and utter madness…)
