That was definitely something in the back of my mind when working on this one, so I’m glad it’s coming across. Some earlier scribbles had some more obvious markers (negative space as bars, etc), but I wanted to leave that as more of a possible interpretation (this is more, to me, about the imprisonment within – as someone who suffers from depression, I can see this as an expression of that sensation, hopefully that’s coming through as well).

Hey Si, looks cool man, as though he is appearing from the shadow of a doorway. i like the pieces falling away from him, he literally looks as though he is wasting away. Good job buddy, its a shame RB don’t offer two tone T Shirts – hehe.

truly see the pain in his eyes ….nice of having him blend with the shadows and have the white on the other half …nice strong piece …..you really feel it ….nice my friend
