Clouds from Italy

Another shot from the Aguille du Midi, this time looking towards Italy and the Aosta valley which is the other side of the ridge directly underneath the clouds.
The clouds were building up over a period of about an hour, so I was waiting around to see what they did, as you can see, not much !!

The large expanse of snow in the forground that leads to the right of the large brown rock to the left of centre is the start of the famous “Valley Blance” off piste which consists of approximately 27km of skiing on top of glaciers !!
