mixed-media/acrylic on canvas board
This is a bit of an experiment – I wanted to try a collage using `real’ materials as opposed to `digital’ ones.
The `shapes’ are inspired by a photograph of various components of a wrecked car, but very much simplified and stylised.

Thanks Kerryn – and yes – I would like to try this sort of thing on a larger scale when I feel brave enough!

‘The courage to create’ (Desiderous Orban) old book pub. in the 60’s helped me along on my journey of understanding the creative process. I read somewhere that having courage is like ‘jumping into the abyss’. Its scary but exciting at the same time. An inner-centeredness of knowing ‘to be still and know …’ always works for me when those panic fear waves swell. All we can do is just do it, practice much and learn from each experience. And enjoy! Cheers – love and light.
Thanks for that Kerryn
