A Mother's Eclipse
Sister poem to Portrait Of An Eclipse
7 October 2008 :)
Emerge
from the chills of tattered yawns,
raindroplets of unripened thoughts
crash through my porcelain will.
Lunge and harvest the first breath of equilibrium
abracadabra transient dreams,
my cherubs look more like gnomes
their laughing tongues riddling my first artistic urges
until I am kissing their feet
feeling ethereal gold of tumbling skin stopping my world,
I am drowning in the ecstatic shivers of long-lost make believe
Someone please breastfeed me.
