Push To Reset …. it said!
Something I have wished for …. for a long time now,
That I had a Reset Button attached to my head!
You see …. head trauma’s can be terrible things,
They can affect you in different ways even when you sing!
The loss for the rhythm and understanding the scales,
Gives one such a headache ….. my singing turns into wails!
My left arm is such a bugger …. its slower than me,
It has a mind of it’s own it even drops cups of tea!
It still has its use’s though …. it gets me out of scrapes,
But since my head trauma it feels my senses have been raped!
So I’m a little out of sync …. Sometimes an overload occurs
I’m not really complaining as its just how I am …. It stinks!!
I can get easily confused but that’s part of age too …. I just started early,
I get very irritable if things don’t work out right,
I know I can do them …. I used too ….. But its difficult …. I can’t …. that’s my plight!
My technical past as a Designer, has long since gone
Cause I can’t remember …. where ever it may belong!
Oh I wish I had that Reset Button!
Get my brain back to some normality!!
I came across an artist called Tracy Faught “Push To Reset”
This image I thought would just suit a disability that I have had for 12 years now, I thought it would be great if all people with disabilities could have a button with Push to Reset implanted!
My poem is supposed to be slightly amusing and light hearted as well of explaining some of my problems. I am ok and very fortunate not to be severely disabled …. I’m just what you call a Forget-Me-Knot!! LOL
Peace, Light and Love + Hugz
I would just like to say Thank You to *Tracy Faught in allowing me to use this image!*
I hope you can see the funny part as that is what I wanted to put over!
