Oh my Dear Great Fore-Fathers,
Great Spirits Of Freedom up above,
Free Spirit in the sky, Tell us now,
What do you fore-see in this our land?

Please help us in our plight, our land is barren,
Our tree’s are dying, our food source’s are low,
We need the water of life to survive.
Oh Spirit of the Wind and Spirit of the Rain
Please give us our source of life’s treasures!

Please send us the meat we require,
Our children and old warriors are dying,
We are a desperate nation please aid us!
Oh Great Spirit of Buffalo where is our herd?

Oh Dear Spirit of “Lone Horn”
Show us how to run alongside and catch our prey,

Oh please Dear Spirits of Two Wolves,
Show us your cunning,
for catching the Big Buffalo!
I call upon all our sacred Spirits up above,
Join your forces please don’t let us die!

The Wind shall blow the Rain and bring us water!
The Tree’s will flourish, the Grass will grow!
Our Buffalo once more will reign the plains!
Our children and Warriors will be Healthy!
We will be that Strong Nation Once Again!

Thank You Oh Wise Chief’s Of All Nations
For Our Salvation

David, it does not surprise me that you are so connected to the Tribes of Nations.. My Grandfather was 1/2 Nez Pierce out of Idaho and I have traveled the old trails trying to make sense of all that is behind us now. Your words feel like the Great Chiefs themselves are reciting them..

Chief Joseph of the Nez Pierce once said..
“We live, we die, and like the grass and trees, renew ourselves from the soft clods of the grave. Stones crumble and decay, faiths grow old and they are forgotten but new beliefs are born. The faith of the villages is dust now…but it will grow again….like the trees. May serenity circle on silent wings and catch the whisper of the winds.” Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce_
    Incredible work !

  • silverstrummer... replied

Wow lina I am stunned and in awe of your comments and I googled Chief Joseph and this is what I found -
Chief Joseph – known by his people as In-mut-too-yah-lat-lat amazingly the music playing in the background has been one of my favourite pieces for a few years no (I can’t remember the name. I do have a few American Indian chants as I have always found peace in their music too. Thank you so much – David

I would love to give the peoples of the world their own nations.
I am afraid that this is not going to be possible.
    We have overcrowded….
specially our souls of human runners of Life.
    There is much to do…
and that can’t be… everyone wishing to return to the “roots”
for then…. it would be like trying to be saved from something that
is meant for all human beings.
I wish them to have their Nation…proud and free… and wish them for all the humankind.
Someday…we will have to go away….
and visit other realms of time.
And the cycles will make emerge the old tribes of Earth….
but I know.. this I will not see…
    I wish.
Rosa (very moving David…restoring roots to men)

  • silverstrummer... replied

You have the same feelings that I do ….... to give people of the world their own nations.
Being overcrowded doesn’t help ….... maybe thats why nature begs us to have wars so it keeps our numbers down,(thats horrible to think really but it maybe true) one looks at RedBubble we can see a similarity between the Earth and its Nations where RedBubble has groups as its Nations …........ maybe the world should take a leaf out of RedBubble to copy!
Thank you dear Rosa as always so Worldly and Wise your comments are so welcomed and appreciated! – On behalf of “mainphotobug” I thank you also – David

    RosaCobos

Oh… I do not think that it is the reason…I do not beleive in “causality”. It helps, but it helps because it is difficult to manage communities o human beings that are superior to 50 individuals. That would be the ideal, as I have learnt. Let’s leave it like this. We are not evolved from our animal side…and we have to share both qualities and keep them in harmony. But it is very difficult. Really. We are fiercely individual and groupal at the same time. We do not follow our instincts.. not really.. we are out of the Nature’s flow due to this sort of duality between our animality and rationality…We are “half done”. And we pay our price for it. Most of wars are driven by greedy and fanatic individuals… groupal controlling the other ones. We have deviced pshychological tools for dominate other human beings, and one of them is and the strongest… “fear”. The native americans or other tribes also fighted one against the others…and they were not overcrowded. But they were sophisticated in their own natural way of living. Then… greed and expansive human beings deleted from the earth, not because they were racists, but just for the fact that they were presenting a defensive wall against their purposes.. and that is… “this land is my land”. The fact is that the earth does not belong to man.. and the less.. to “some men”, because they have the right to posses it… no one has the right to “buy” it or “·sell” it… and land is food, and animals, and life… if it is turned into possesions and roads, and buildings.. land is turned into garbage. Have seen the other day in TV a documental about the innuits. They have lost their culture or are loosing it. Why?.... just because they do not leave any more on their chasing and fishing,, their own way. Their lands have been occupied by other culture. They have been giving alienated jobs. They cannnot work with the usual tools, they have been “prostituted”. They do a lot of efforts for not forgetting their language, but at the heart they know that the “thunder-roller” of our civilization has done with them. No way back… and this is just in a few decades… before our eyes. Not need to remember the Hernan Cortés, or Custers….this is being… happening now.. before our own eyes. Not to tell about the indians of the Amazones… South American, massacred…. this is not for overpopulation..it is but it is not. It is that we are “half done”... Thanks for giving me chance for musing a bit about all these things.Have a hug.
    Rosa

    silverstrummer...

You have pointed out so many reasons and honest reasons to its not about racial its land ownership, and you are so correct that although we have evolved we stil have that animal factor within us which can be aggressive and not placid. Is this why we are “Half Done” that those of us who are against discrimination and wars have evolved fot the better? I would like to think so. If that is true then those of us who are placid and want peace still have to fight for it …...... hoping in another hundred years time Earth will be at peace with its self but I’m not sure Earth will be here by then especially with North Korea setting off Nuclear underground bomb testing …......... this could damage the Earths infrastructure which can make us unstable! Thank you Rosa for your comments always hugzs too – David
