Drumming Up Love

I sit beside you, look you up and down,
Beautiful and sexy even all round .
Your skin so lovely and taught
Ready to play with those sexy thoughts.

Your snare rounded in chrome
Certainly enhances your equipment,
Big bass drum with pedal afoot
You both give a graceful sound
A Top-hat with no tails,
Standing upright shining in the light
Your chrome makes a distinctive stand
Movements made by a pedal on the floor.

Two adjacent tom toms aligned each side of my big bass
With a 12” symbol making a shade from the lights just in case
One cowbell to add to this beautiful array.
Such a great drum-set I must say!

My right foot at the ready on the bass pedal,
My left foot at the ready on my top-hats,
Drumsticks are ready and in my hands
I can feel the vibes already in your snare!

A rhythmic sound comes from the big bass drum,
Whilst a drum roll on the snare begins
A clash of top-hats add to the sound.
Now we are ready to rock!

The tingling vibrations, make you go insane
Such a powerful sound, that’s so profound,
Head is swaying and full of rhythm
My eyes are closed ……. I am adrift.
Somewhere in this sound … I can be found!

The penetration of vibes can now be felt
Such sexy music so wonderful in its core,
Beads of perspiration fall droplets onto the floor,
Making you feel beautiful feelings within,

Body tingling with glorious overtones
Dancing in rhythm our song comes to end
Silence now as the drums stop their beat
But still there still is a tapping in my feet!

    You’re very Welcome David….Any thing musical I like…my son was a drummer…he practiced on our dinning chairs and ripped them to pieces (Grrrrr), but it paid off and he became a drummer among other things:)
