A Cloning Of My Car - This Is a true story

Thank You Amber it was funny when I look back at it but its made me slightly paranoid whenever I fill up with petrol/gas I always make sure I keep the receipt for at least 2 years now! (well it gives me something to do!). Thank you for your comments they are so welcomed – David :>))

Thank you so much I don’t know whether they caught the person, but unfortunately it happens quite a lot in the UK now. The price of petrol/gas is terrible over here, the Government keep putting it up …........ then it has a big knock-on effect with food etc. Your support is so much appreciated – David :>))

Yes Helen they certainly did they fill the car up and zoom off! I suppose its better that way than going into the filling station and “holding it up” it is scary there is abig credit/debit card cloning as well and it’s getting worse. I shred every piece of paper that goes in the dustbin like a lot of other people do but they get stung by people stealing money from your cards! We have actually seen it being done on television there is a police programme that shows a cashier dropping your credit/debit card accidently on purpose and at his feet out of sight is a machine that swipes the card and a little camera in the ceiling above which records your pin numbers, there are thosand of people who have had money stolen! Hi lil me! It certainly can drain your spirits and tests your integrity its amazing how they can find out so much these days – then I suppose internet shopping is partly to blame also. I hope your experience wasn’t too bad Amber – David :>))

Thank You for your comments it wasn’t a very nice experience at the time as it’s also made me nervous that it might happen again, I keep all receipts that I get for my Petrol now as sometimes at the garage you have to ask for a receipt some don’t like giving them out! – David :>))

Hi Trudi Thanks for your comments ….. it is frightning once the criminals have your identity I have always shred anything with my name on it such as envelopes etc. and any bank statements! I’m so wary theses days!

Thanks Cassidy yes I consider myself quite lucky but also one of life’s experiences too. I do use my humour sometimes if I’m in a situation and it helps me I suppose in a way. Hope your ok and enjoying RB still!
