Taken at the War Memorial Aboretum in Alrewas, UK. I have been here several times, but on this visit one of the statues had these poppies in its hand, I found it deeply moving.

What a beautiful simple way to show rememberance.
My late father was in WW2 & my sweet darling husband is a Vietnam vetran.
So this is some thing that has a lot of meaning to me.
It put a tear in my eye…xxx
