Glass Globes: View of the World

A different perspective on the world. Also a nice seasonal picture. It’s a picture of glass globes that have been hanging in the front window at home and I took the picture through them into the winter wonderland outside. It’s not a recent picture, it was taken two, maybe three winters ago. Thought I’d put it up and let it get some exposure! I’m really happy with how it turned out!

I love this unique take on the traditional holiday photo. The globes by themselves are stunning, and the winter wonderland outside makes the whole image a treat for the eyes. This makes for a wonderful addition to the Happy Haven group. Thanks so much for adding it to our gallery!

This is the one that really grabbed my attention. Not only the way those amazing transparent colors work together, and not only that the scene outside comes into focus through the glass… but the mood that this picture carrys. The bleak winter as seen through your window takes on a happy, seasonal glow that is more the way YOU interpret the scene than your camera. It’s a delightful shot, and so well executed. Nice work!
