Scarlet Silence
I finally got a nice shot of a cardinal! Believe me, they are very sensitive birds and just the smallest sound or slightest movement and they’re off! I’ve gotten many great cardinal BLUR pictures :P … this time I was very fortunate and lucky!
I took this shot in my back yard :) The male cardinal is the state bird of both Virginia (where I’m at) and Ohio. It’s such a majestic bird, with a distinctive chirp _
I really hope you enjoy this picture. The only post production that was done was small adjustment of levels and contrast. I also added the black border, of course, to make it look more like a letterbox format. I think the black and red contrast nicely together.
