My name is Rebie and my main passions are photography and writing—I’m sure you never would have guessed . . . ; )
I love colors, especially yellows, greens, and blues, and the scent of vanilla, be it vanilla extract, a scented candle, vanilla-scented hand lotion, whatever! I don’t really have a favorite food, although I love cakes and cookies, biscotti, and on rainy days, nothing beats chicken noodle soup in a sourdough bread bowl. I do try to eat healthy most of the time. = )
Right now I’m learning Latin via RosettaStone and am taking a class for it. Soon I hope to learn Italian as well, because my dream is to visit Italy. And if I like it, maybe I’ll move there . . .
I like all sorts of music, from Beethoven; to Earth, Wind, and Fire; to TobyMac. But I couldn’t play an instrument to save my life.
Right now I’m listening to:
“Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles
“Love Is Trippy” by Amy Kuney
“Wonderful World” by Sam Cooke
“What Is Love” by Haddaway
AND
“Accidentally in Love” by Counting Crows.

...A memory of the evanescent sun / Abandoned.
... Standing in the rain, / Soaking in the sun, / No need to explain / This long existence…
...And my thoughts form fervent words of reminiscing, / But relief from this cruel memory is such a rarity…
My hope is like the phoenix / Which will forever rise…
And there he stands, / His name still on her lips…
...Hanging like hope in the air, / The sweet taste of love on blue days. / Kiss me, please, I whisper, and you do…
