could use some advice
I am entering the ekka (royal brisbane show) creative imaging photography and have no idea what to enter. You can put in up to 4 works. Have not entered the ekka before so I am having trouble deciding. It is a big show with a lot of competition, obviously will have to stay away from my darkest stuff…any advice on this would be greatly appreciated!

but as a basic sort of guide
you could do no worse than checking your image stats for views and fav’s

yes of course. the one problem with that though is that so much on rb is dependant on how a little square thumbnail looks, something that may not stand out enough in a thumbnail to get people looking could still be effective in a print-thanks though :)

maybe check and see what works have gotten the most hits on Rb ,then you could post top 5-6 pieces and ask for comments on those….myself I would pick one light one / one dark one to attract attention and stir up conversation, but show you are not ’’stuck ’’ and then just2 more of your most popular or what you intuit. thats my two nickles rubbed together…hope it helps good luck ..have fun!

I agree with the above.. but your icon is one hella piece and so is ‘she looks toward the light’
‘joy’ and midnight wave to me is very very cool.. but I would really look to see the popular ones on this site too.
