We are like plastic,
plastic bags into the wind,
reaching for the higher clouds,
seeing nothing, blurry dreams.
We are like plastic,
plastic bags into the storm,
traveling from shore to shore,
all washed up.
We are plastic,
plastic bags onto the earth,
choking life, poisoning dirt,
tainting seas, while going north,
killing fish and birds and more.
We are plastic,
plastic bags, all free of charge,
suffocating all around…
We are here to stay – our goal
100 years at most /
per useless plastic bag,
per human soul.
