Dear Pillow...
Dear pillow,
thank you for listening to me,
for letting me scream quietly,
for letting me cry on you…
thank you for being there to share my pain,
when words pierced through my heart and tear it apart.
thank you for being there for me to hug,
when the wind outside is howling,
and nightmare strikes and there’s no one to hug me…
Dear pillow,
thank you for being my friend
thank you for not hurting me
thank you for not leering & jeering at me
thank you for not branding me
thank you for being there quietly
thank you~

The drawing and the verse are perfect together. Love the drawing, The verse makes me sad but that is good because it reminds that everyone is not as happy as I.

Is xmas celebrated in Singapore? like a tree and deco at home, santa and pressies even though it’s not a native celebration?
silentcries replied
hehehe… thank you, Christelle!! am hoping they’d help me express my feelings better.. hehehe.. i haven’t even got my stalls up, Chris!! OO” waaa… i just sent an email earlier today to apply for a stall.. i think i’d only get it next year.. Oo” but yep!! We do celebrate xmas is sg.. most youngsters will celebrate it, not caring about religion.. to us, it’s a perfect occasion for gatherings and having fun! =D hmm.. i don’t have trees and deco at home though.. hell, we don’t even put up decos for Hari Raya.. lolz!!! but secretly?? i truly wish i can take part in decorating a xmas tree one day.. hehehe.. XD
Cvail73
Lol, they do, very expressive, lol!! :)
ohh, next year, you mean jan??
Ah but Christmas is not a religious celebration ;) it comes from old old pagan celebrations and traditions a long time ago, then was hijacked by the Christians, and now was given back to the masses, lol! Christmas tree, father Christmas, presents, are completely unrelated to religion :)) The big father Christmas image was invented by Coke at the beginning of last century!!
In Europe, we have different traditions in each country around Christmas, and we celebrate them on different days around Christmas, and we all have different names for it :) My mum always used to put a creche at the bottom of the tree because it looks good only: we don’t have a religion in my family, never had, even beyond my grad parents! Basically they are traditions to cheer and occuppy the masses inside when it’s cold and dark outside :)
I don’t have a tree myself, can’t be bothered, It’s good when there are kids at home though :)
What’s Hari raya? :)
It’s a fun tradition, the tree especially when yopu are little! You should make one at home one year, you just need a tree (platic will do), baubles, garlands, a star for the top of the tree, maybe sweets to hang on the tree! In France the kids (an the parents!!) put the shoes at the foot of the chimney because that’s where father Christmas (he’s got other names where I come from ;) comes in the house to deposit the present in the shoes :) in Britain they hang the socks there to receive their present in it!!
It’s very much fun really!
silentcries replied
Jan.. yea. i hope Jan.. hehe.. XD
big father christmas was invented by coke? is big father christmas = santa? Oo” Coke is Santa?!
aha.. wish i can help decorate a tree one day.. hehehe… Hari Raya Puasa is sorta the day we celebrate after fasting for 1mth. People will go visiting their relatives, asking for forgiveness and stuffs.. Kids will get little packets with money inside.. and for some like me, we’d give the elders (old needy elders) money as well.
Hmmm… xmas socks!!! i remember my bro received one from his friend.. lolz!
