Great Minds Think Alike

I guess I should be calling Anhauser-Busch and applying for the job of marketing director because out of sheer coincidence my Bud Light mock ad that I uploaded here a few days ago is a remarkably similar one to the official ad that is published in the local magazines. Because this product is so new around here I had not seen any ads on TV or in print for the product. I know it’s easy to say that after the fact, but honestly I had not seen any ads before I created mine. Originally I had the water splash on the bottle, but opted to go with the parched vs quenched appeal because the splash thing seems to be overdone lately. Great minds think alike! LOL.

Here is the Official Ad for Bud Lime I found in a magazine today:

Here’s the one I created and uploaded a few days back:

So…do you think I’d get the job???
Cheers, S.

Your too funny Lois. Thanks for the glowing review. I thought after I put this out there that it might have come across a bit self serving, but then that’s kind of what we need to do in order to get others to pay attention to us and buy something right? Your the best! Cheers, S.

Sweetie, you couldn’t be more right!!!!! Considering the number of business cards I’ve been leaving around the area lately (Sunday and today especially) I figure the lines I’ve been dropping over the side of the boat, someone’s bound to bite one of these days, so to speak!!!! Hope springs eternal … the answer’s always no until you ask … seek and ye shall find … lol ... want more???

I agree. Even as a kid I’d tell my girlfriends who were afraid to ask their Mom or Dad if they could do something (sleep over, go to the fair, whatever) was you’ll never know until you ask. The worst they can say is no! I also think that for every no you get, you’re that much closer to a yes…law of averages??? LOL. Cheers, S.
