Love these style of images, great image of nature and very detailed!

  • sigfusson replied

This was such a lucky shot – I stumbled upon it on a walk in the park near my home. It had been raining for many days and when I saw how the rain had highlighted this web I just had to photograph it. Cheers, S.

I’m so pleased you shuffled this one to the top Sandra otherwise I may have missed it, what a superb macro image it is, the many tiny water droplets on the web are like nature’s jewels shining in the light and you managed to get it all in perfect focus as well, super shot my friend,
    Regards, Rod.

  • sigfusson replied

You are too kind Rod. A lucky last minute shot while strolling thru the local park near my home. Glad you like it! Cheers, S.

HOLY WOWZER!!! I think there must be a club somewhere … and everyone who has managed to pull off a shot like this belongs to it … and the members sit and shake their collective heads with pity at those of us who have NOT been able to do it .. and probably never will … This is a stupendous, fabulous image!!!! And I am alllll envy!!!!

  • sigfusson replied

well, I don’t know about the private club, but you’d be more than qualified to be a member if there was one! Thanks so much for the glowing review Lois! Hugs, S.

stunning capture. I’ve never seen this before with webs – fantastic!!

  • sigfusson replied

Thank you Lizzietish. I’ve tried this shot again more recently by spraying water onto a web near my house, but it’s not the same effect that fog has on webs. This was a unique situation that I’m unable to replicate. Cheers, S.

beautiful spider webs are a work of art in themselves
you captured one with the elements of stunning
    beauty and complexity!! bravo!!

  • sigfusson replied

I totally agree. Webs are so fascinating in their structure, but once fog or rain are added, the result is amazingly beautiful. Cheers, s.
