We’re constantly moving in one of four directions. Even if we choose to do nothing at all, we are still moving through time. Because of this, we can never go back to where we started. Every frame, there is a new “you”, fully formed in the present moment in time, built on our past and hoping for the future, but only truly existing in this moment.
Everything in the Perpetual Motion series is drawn using a technique I am calling “Numberism” wherein the entire piece is drawn with only the numbers 1 -12, marking the hours of the clock.
