A shot down the Colinade that runs around the outside of the courtyard at the temple of Horus, Edfu, Egypt
The temple of Horus is located in the Egyptian town of Edfu. It was dug out of the sand at the turn of the century and is widely regarded as the most complete Egyptian temple standing today. it was so complete that even the holy boat used to sail the Statue of Horus up the Nile to festivals was still in the inner sanctum. Well worth a visit if you’re in Egypt but look out for a chap called Muhammad whos shop is outside the temple, He’s desperate for you to buy something and so are all his mates!
