Strata
I love finding areas of the earth’s bones exposed so that you can see the folds and layers of the rock. This image has not been rotated. The strata was at a 45 degree angle. It makes you wonder what pressures and forces it must have experienced to have been twisted that way…

Wow – I’ve not been on RedBubble for a while so this was quite a surprise. I feel honoured and delighted that you all liked the image so much so a huge thank you to everyone that left comments. :)
As for where it was taken – I’m afraid I can’t remember (it was in one of my unsorted folders – I’m terrribly disorganised). I believe it was a secluded little beach on the northern coast of Devon, England.
Sorry I can’t be more exact. I feel really bad. :(
