I think it all comes to: ONE PERCENT INSPIRATION.. and NINETY NINE PERCENT PERSPIRATION…

Yes, that is why I chose to draw it on Heavilly Textured paper.. I love to experiment with drawing surfaces…

Awesome artwork. Did you read some of Valerio Massimo Manfredi’s novels about his life? I’ve finished reading “The Sands of Ammon” two months ago and the saga of Alexander’s quest to conquer Asia is brilliant! His life was amazing!
