It was kind of on the fly. I wanted a portrait of him, but he is very shy, so i took him out for breakfast and snapped and snapped while he was talking. I got a bunch of great shots. This one is special because he was thinking a solution to a particularly painful issue I was having.

great grab shygrrl..I think one of the things I love about photography is how it demands you to capture the bare bones of what the subject means to you in that little moment..I like how you’ve softened this against his ‘rockstar-ness’ to convey what you see in your bro to make your heart swell..this pic has inspired me to get into portraits more..xL
