Ink and watercolour pencils
ink, watercolour, pencils
This is fantastic! i have been sitting and staring at it for a while wondering about how you did this. lots of ruler work? certainly lots of imagingation. love it.
Many thanks Marion, it does involve a good deal of ruler work unfortunately!!!!! I paint out the background first then i draw in the lines( in this case 2 millimetres apart)then i use watercolour pencils, by dipping them into the water, rather than painting over the lines ive already drawn. Ive found a way to use both sides of the paper if u stretch the paper over reinforced glass, which means u can combine 3-4 images into one image in terms of layering it, its great fun, but it can be incredibly time consuming tho!!!!!!!!

This definitely worked out. There’s no shortcut to good artworks… *sigh, but then, it’s all worth it isn’t it?
Like this one Josh. Nice use of colours
