I am a freelance photographer based in Halifax in the UK, with over 11 years experience. Photography is not only a career choice of mine, it is a passion & hobby – dating back to 2000 when I bought my first proper camera, a digital kodak point and shoot. I have a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Photographic Arts from Huddersfield University in and a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication from Leeds Metropolitan University. From April 2007 to October 2008, I worked for Trafalgar Photographic Studios in Bradford, taking on the role as Junior Photographer. Here I gained more knowledge and experience of various aspects of studio photography, including sets (kitchens, bathrooms etc.), product, and table top.
I consider myself to have a varied and wide-ranging portfolio as all aspects of photography interest me. My work ranges from portraiture of both young children and adults to HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography produced through multiple exposures and integration with Photomatix. I enjoy travelling so included in my portfolio are images from around the world – Paris, to Las Vegas, to Venice and Rome. You will also be able to explore the macro world of images i’ve taken which expose the details not visible to the naked eye thanks to my Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens.
