I am a 38 year old first time mommy of a 2 year old. I hold a teacher certification, but am currently a stay at home mommy to spend time with my little son. He is my pride and joy! I have been married 4 1/2 years and we can’t imagine life without our son. We are truly blessed by the Lord to have been chosen to be his parents.

I have always loved photography, but never had a good camera till my husband bought me a Canon PowerShot Pro 1 three years ago. However, the zoom is worn out in just 3 years as my counter tells me I have taken over 26,000 pictures in this short time (over 2/3 are my son!) I love macro-photography of flowers and butterflies. I also enjoy birds, lighthouses, and landscapes. My most favorite now is children, especially my son. I am trying to learn to do portraiture, but with a 2 year old, I am doing good to capture candids as he is ALWAYS ON THE GO! Lol.

Now this past Christmas, my husband bought me a new Canon Kiss X (Rebel xTi) which is amazing. Can’t wait to show you my new work. Take a look through my gallery and give me honest feedback so I can learn how to improve.
