Stunning shot, looks like he might pack a sting, xxxxxxxxx
Trust me, they do! Yet I still chase them! Thanks Carlotta!
Handsome but I would stomp him out, they don’t like me and I have had more than one sting..Great picture Steve. Shirley
Thanks Shirley, after running over a wasp’s nest with the lawn mower (accidentally, of course!) and sustaining about thirty stings, I didn’t think I’d get myself to do this again, foolish maybe, dedicated?definitely!
OOOH Nasty looking beast, wonderful capture but the bane of my life here in the summer. For some reason they love to attack me at every opportunity . Great Macro Steve.
Thanks Mark, I’ve been more cautious so far this year, but I’ve managed to annoy a few so far…but no stings yet this year!
wonderful macro Steve…..Geo had a run in with one of these the other day….almost took him to the hosp. Instead he deluged with benadril…two at the time….and two before bed….his whole hand was swollen from just a fly by……nasty little buggar (the wasp not geo) haha…well, what ever!!!!!
Close call for Geo, lucky for me no allergy, just pain, lots of pain! Peechez has to be careful though, yet she still goes after them sometimes! Thanks Di!!!
