What do you see?
Reflections or an Ink Blot Test?!
Taken with a Canon EOS 7D and a Canon 18mm-200mm lens by Lake Isabella, California, USA.
There’s a spot I love to photograph in all seasons. But recently, our lake has been painfully low. No water. Drowned trees from years ago poke their ragged limbs through the mud and dance in air they have not seen for decades.
So I didn’t go to the lake. But this week, I did….and I went back….and I took my favorite kid. The results are in this current set of work.
A lesson to me that even if something hurts, I still need to photograph the story….to document the history.
