Bath Lane, Glasgow .. a few steps off the beaten track.
architecture glasgow hdr scotland urban
Awesome image and treatment!
Super HDR Karl, looks like more than a few steps off the beaten track – hehehe
The lane runs parallel to Bath Street, Tom. The buildings you see are the backs of the buildings which front on to Bath Street.
Wow, wet texture and stone. Terrific feel.
Those wet cobbles are fabulous !
Nothing like a bit of moisture to liven up your cobbles!
LOVE the intensity of this one, Karl, and the implied sense of hurry and despair. What sets this one apart, tho, is the few jolly pops of bright color from the trash bins … a quirky metaphor for life, don’t you think???
You and I think alike, Lois .. although many people have commented along the lines of “great – apart from the bins”.
Stunning shot Karl,an instant fav. Would it be to much to ask for a few secrets to your post processing techniques.
Nothing special, Paul .. bog standard 3exp HDR plus a few tweaks in Photoshop.
Excellent image with real character and atmosphere, created from superb editing and great perspective, Karl!!!
Thanks Phil .. there was a wee bit of perspective correction .. put it down to my engineering mentality!
Thanks for dropping by, Katy .. I appreciate you taking the time, with all you’re going through at the moment.
The colours and perspective in this shot are stunning!
