Again, a pristine image, with lots of interest. First Class !

I wish the Loch had been a wee bit higher .. at least high enough to completely cover the base of “the” tree. Not to worry though .. summer is nearly here!

NDx1000 – and I thought NDx400 was extreme! who makes it?
Karl Williams replied
It’s the ND-110(3.0) filter made by B+W, Peter. I’m pretty sure it’s the only one of that strength on the market.
Travis Easton
Now that is stunning, beautiful shot Karl
David Hibberd

Veikko Suikkanen
Brilliant capture Karl!
Joel Hall
Wow that is an amazing shots. And 100 seconds!? What time of day was this?
Karl Williams replied
It was early morning, Joel, just after the sun had come up. I used a NDx1000 filter (which is so dark it’s like a welder’s mask) to cut down the light and enable the long exposure.
Stuart Chapman
The tranquility in this is just incedible. Beautiful reflections and superb lighting on the mountains on the other side of the Loch.
Karl Williams replied
Thanks, Stuart. This is a very popular spot with photographers .. with rocks, solitary trees, tree stumps etc etc. Just do a search for Milarrochy and you’ll see what I mean!
