Tsha Tsha, a Tibetan transliteration of Sanskrit word, are the clay votive tablets in Tibetan Buddhism.
These small votive tablets , no more than 2 inches in diameter , were made from moulds with clay or loam . Often ashes of a Saint would be added . They were made to serve as pilgrim’s souvenirs for portable shrines , consequently to be inserted into stupas or large images to increase their power and potency .
