The Shores of Long Lake

Long Lake is one of many lakes that run along Rock Creek in the Eastern Sierras of California. I take a lot of photos through this area because of how beautiful it is. In most of my photos I’m facing the other direction to get all the tallest mountains in the background, but this angle worked better at the time. I took this after descending from Treasure Lakes which is up higher in the valley. A storm had been raging all afternoon and it gave me a nice ominous mood to work with.
