Viginti Tres is Latin for 23
Viginti Tres is based on the final track from 10,000 Days, the latest album from the superior progressive metal band Tool and is a strange track and open to great interpretation.
When listening to the track, I got a real sense of space and emptiness and as the noise built up, I imagined a television floating through space. I decide that as this piece was the last painting in the set, I wanted to tie the collection together somehow. The actual television set which features here is the same a few that appear in Vicarious.
