Very powerful yet entirely soft. The eye contact serves a twofold purpose: drags the viewer in and takes hold of their emotions and creates a palpable steel wall between yourself and the viewer.

Very intense. This is the first of your shots I have seen, and I look forward to seeing more. I do a lot of self-portraiture, and SO appreciate your effort. The mirror is a really nice touch – the reflection makes you look a bit like a Hindu God! Nice tat, too, and the gaze is arresting and compelling, which makes for a spectacular shot – this is much, much more than some cheesy portrait.
