The King Parrot, also known as the Australian King, Eastern King, Queensland King, would probably be one of the most easily recognised of the Australian parrots. The distinct scarlet red of the adult male ensures that he will not go unnoticed. There pleasant and playful nature also makes the King Parrot an excellent choice as a companion parrot.
