    nicely done

  • John Hooton replied

Thanks George, the shot has it’s limitations, but the effect worked out about how I hoped, so I am fairly happy with it.

WOW! This is amazing. The shutter speed is just right to show movement, but clarity at the same time. Guess I’ll have to go build an alter now. I just need to get a lock of your hair, or your socks – you know the drill.

  • John Hooton replied

Thanks Chris, you made me laugh and I could do with that! The trick on this one is to shoot in virtual darkness with a slow shutter speed to give you time to grab a couple of flashes. The flash takes care of the exposure and freezes the finger movement in two places.

Sooooo…does this mean I don’t get a lock of your hair?

  • John Hooton replied

That’s right, but give me your address and I’ll send the socks!

Amazing technique plays with ease ….........THumbs up

  • John Hooton replied

My taste is a bit old fashioned for Adam… height of cool – listening to Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames playing at the Flamingo. The ’ Stones for some serious studio background/foreground music!
