Ripples upon the Waters of Life
The bumps in life’s road that show up when you least expect them like an unexpected pregnancy, the lost of a good partner, and all those unexpected ripples.
Ripples upon the Waters of Life
In every walk of life we yearn for the peace and tranquility of life’s promise. That life’s enrichments manifested in a good education, a decent job, and the love of a good partner to be in thy grasp; some of these enrichments may seem mundane or superficial to those sophisticated playboys of the world that flaunts they are obviously not subservient aristocratic socialites awash in inherited wealth. Basking in the rich and abundant waters of life is the panicle of their existence in a capitalist society and a station most favored by most young wide eyed dreamers yearning for that forever elusive endurance without ripples.
The illusion of a ripple less abundance of tranquil waters of life escapes the dreams envisioned by most grounded in the reality that ripples materialize in all walks of life. The ripples of life’s waters manifest when least expected in shallow lives, naïve lives as well as sophisticated lives just the same; just like falling in love it whacks you where it hurts the most, like a ton of bricks falling on your head. First come the yearning, then the love, the marriage, followed shortly after by the baby carriage, even though not always in that order. The ripple effects can last for twenty one years, if you are lucky, but most times it’s like a life sentence, as soon as one ripple smooth the other, not far behind waits for tranquil regularity to ripple again and again. Hence, the ripples upon the waters of life endures.

Thank you Kim, words of wisdom come easier that I could reduce them to the written word but, I will keep on trying… We all have ripples and you hit it right on, that’s what it’s all about; the survival of the unexpected ripple. My last ripple was blowing the engine of my Florida car, less than a year after replacing our New York car, that’s an unexpected repair bill…
