While visiting the historic mining mountain town of Jerome, Arizona, we walked through the lovely Holy Family Catholic Church – built in 1898 when Jerome was a booming mining town. It was known as “The Miners’ Church”. The church was closed for Mass in 2004 and is now a monastery with two resident monks. It’s organ is one of three of its kind in the US. There are beautiful statues and other art work displayed. We discovered this picture and tribute to Saint Veronica, who is the patron Saint of Photography.
