La Colonnade
Originally designed as a simple unadorned salle de verdure by Le Nôtre in 1678, this is possibly the grandest folly ever to be commissioned, La Colonnade with the “Abduction of Persephone” by François Girardon, is located within the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
