while on adventure
this afternoon…...
the aspens were gathered
in tremendous conversation
thunderbeings threw a party
for mother earth, in adoration
something big was in the air
to those who step thoughtfully
and go forward with care
ant hills bustling
with energy like fire
not seen while stood upon
but their message became clear
dampness, tall grass
soft earth and mud
pine trees damaged
were hugged for love
evidence of turmoil
struggle and strife
amidst the forest
but springs new Life!
calm flowing shallows
and feirce running currents
nothing like lots of water
in busy running hurry
as crow prayed for peace
while we readied to leave
another day encountered
a lovely day to breath

oh hun I have no idea how i missed this. sorry guess i’ve been alittle preoccupied lately. This is beautiful. Yep i think i might have to just go for a peaceful hike.. now if only my knee would heal so i could. love and hugs.xxx
