birds of every size and shape
snap at the ground for that
early morning treat
rabbits and squirrels
run, hop & leap for joy
playing like toddlers
in the brisk new morn
coyote pups practice
what they learned to repeat
they sound so serious
and yet so sweet
sights and sounds
begin to fill the land
it’s day break
and isn’t it grand!

thanks! I’m just sitting here with all the windows and doors open and the world is taking shape for the day! It’s joyous. How I could have EVER hated mornings is beyond me!!

sure is shilo …. sure is my friend ….. isnt it funny how you see these things … yet i havn’t seen these same things (creatures) ... yet i can feel the same way in my part of the world and with different creatures … I guess it was meant to be this way for us all … its simply an appreciation and awareness of life and all that resides there in each of our own little worlds …
