From now until the end of May, the Rocky Mtn. Nat’l Park is largely closed off to road travel due to weather conditions…ice, snow, etc…..
today I traveled as far up as I was allowed, then got out on foot and trekked some more….
I found this shallow stream, then realized these
formations were ice crystals…...glistening in the sun-lit forest, hidden away from the beaten path…it was a very delightful encounter ;o}
